With over 22 years of experience in business and information technology, John Turcich, Jr. is an invaluable asset to any IT or ERP project. While John has spent most of his time in the manufacturing, consumer products, financial services and healthcare industries, his experience can improve any organization’s operations. John has particular expertise in ERP implementations and project management. He gives unbiased and experience-fueled advice, allowing clients to implement the right solutions, on time and on budget.
Before joining LTA in 2007, John served as Senior Product Manager for eWork Inc, leading the design and application of the company’s software products and services. He has also worked as an Associate Director at Ernst & Young, focusing on full lifecycle ERP implementations, and as a Senior Manager for Manufacturing Management Associates.
John holds a BS degree in Operations Management Information Systems from Northern Illinois University. He is a member of the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) and has an SAP certification in Materials Management and Production Planning.
- Conducted a needs analysis, developed the RFI/RFP, evaluated and selected ERP solutions and performed project management consulting for a middle market manufacturing company.
- Helped a financial services firm replace its core application.
- Led a business and IT alignment assessment for a financial services firm that focused on their applications portfolio and IT organizational alignment, budget and governance service levels.
- Conducted an IT assessment and provided short- and long-term recommendations for a specialty finance company focused on healthcare.
- Conducted a business intelligence toolset review, a data warehouse feasibility study and created a high-level design for a large financial services company.
- Led the effort to define the IT infrastructure, design a custom application, develop/lead a vendor selection process and establish a Project Management Office for a startup consumer products company.
- Provided technology leadership for a structured cabling installation company, where he developed and implemented a disaster recovery plan, business continuity plan, IT governance program, IT strategy plan, a change management program and an IT control program.
