Joel Schneider is the co-founder of Liberty Technology Advisors and has over 25 years of experience as a management consultant, specializing in information systems, business process optimization and operations management. He is an ERP maestro, able to develop and apply customized strategies in a way that revolutionizes the way a business performs. Joel has leveraged his consulting talents for clients in a wide range of industries, focusing on manufacturing, distribution, process, food and beverage and consumer products.
Joel has served on both sides of the consulting table. Before founding LTA, Joel was a partner at Friedman, Eisenstein, Raemer & Schwartz (FERS), a mid-market accounting firm. Joel also served as president of ISI Infortext (a division of FERS), a $12 million manufacturing and distribution company. Joel led the company through a turnaround from bankruptcy to successful operation.
Joel holds a BS from Bradley University in Business Management and Administration and a minor in Computer Science. He is married with two wonderful children and lives in Deerfield, Illinois. When he’s not analyzing processes and making your business run better, Joel can be found golfing and traveling.
- Evaluated, helped selected and implemented an integrated manufacturing and financial system for an international manufacturer and distributor of food service equipment.
- Prepared a technology plan, then evaluated, selected and implemented an ERP solution for a manufacturer. Also responsible for moving the company, including operations and systems, from California to El Paso, Texas and Juarez, Mexico.
- Prepared a corporate reorganization and assisted in the implementation of the new corporate structure for a plastics manufacturer.
- Re-engineered and led the turnaround of a manufacturer and software developer of cost recovery systems.
- Developed a marketing information system for a manufacturer of liquid/solid separation equipment.
