Chris Voss is an information technology leader with a talent for the rapid analysis of diverse situations, allowing him to develop and lead successful action plans. Throughout his career, Chris has led global teams to realize cost savings, business process improvements, improved customer satisfaction and revenue growth. He is one of LTA’s top project rescue specialists, helping clients protect their investments by turning around at-risk projects.
Prior to joining LTA, Chris was a Program Manager at The Management Network Group and before that, a Program Manager and Project Manager at Enterpulse. There, he led numerous challenging projects in the financial, energy and telecommunications industries. Among his many responsibilities were refocusing crisis projects, building products and conceiving and organizing PMOs for several organizations.
Chris has also worked within large, global corporations, serving as a District Manager for AT&T. As a telecommunications leader, he undertook complex projects, such as the delivery of the AT&T Network Services Year 2000 independent verification program, increasing efficiency, profitability and product market share through his efforts.
Chris earned a BS in Math and a BS in Economics from SUNY at Brockport. He also holds an MBA in Management Science from the University of Connecticut and completed the Penn State Executive Program, concentrating in Financial Analysis for Strategic Management.
- Led the successful recovery of a multi-phased project focused on the replacement of a leading insurance company’s claims management system with a third-party product.
- Managed the first phase of an initiative for a leading telecommunications company, delivering 90 products, eliminating 201 applications from the enterprise portfolio and achieving a $180 million improvement in the company’s cost structure.
- Directed a program of five products to produce a unified portal for a financial services company, fusing multiple legacy sites and applications, incorporating new requirements and improving the user experience.
- Supported the implementation of a content management process, including detail design, development and implementation, for a newly redesigned energy utility website.
- Created the strategy and roadmap for a new financial services portal.
- Implemented a PMO for several global clients.
- Led the development of a highly available speech application, coordinating the development efforts of 10 diverse groups.
