The Situation
In the midst of a high profile and complex ERP implementation, Gold Eagle was in need of direction and guidance in implementing its new system, JD Edwards.
The Solution
After assessing Gold Eagle’s current ERP implementation project, LTA determined that the business solution being implemented (JD Edwards) was certainly the best fit for Gold Eagle’s business needs, but the implementation needed a new project approach, discipline and strategy. Gold Eagle requested that LTA develop a strategy to successfully implement its business solution vision and manage the project. LTA created a strict timeline and project plan, and assigned a full-time program manager to Gold Eagle’s ERP implementation project to guide its task plan and establish definiteive project expectations. This offered Gold Eagle a clear project plan and the assurance of prompt and accurate results. Its ERP system went live shortly after LTA became engaged.
